The Saleen is a model of the American Sports Cars that has been developed by Steve Saleen of southern California. Saleen is a sports car enthusiast who made a name for himself in the automotive world by developing a sleek, small "race" truck and ultimately a line of sports cars that would bear his name: Saleen. In 1986 Saleen Autosport entered the Sports Car Club of America Showroom stock series with a "race version" of the Saleen Mustang. The Saleen ended up winning the grinding 24 hour race with sponsorship from General Tire.
Since the introduction of the original Saleen in 1984, the upgraded Mustang has become more and more popular among sports car and racing enthusiasts alike. As the Saleen enters its third decade we are proud to announce that the Saleen is more renowned than ever. Ramey Ford is a proud carrier of the the Ford Saleen Super Vehicle.
